Obsession
I have a few obsessions. My cameras, my laptop, my phone, my iPad, and my car just to name a few. But one obsession that I cannot live without is golf. I think about it all the time! What tournaments are going on for the PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA tours, how I'm swinging and how I can get better and of course, equipment! Always love checking out the latest and greatest and see if it will help me with my game or at the very least, make me look good! I've been wanting some new blade irons which are what the pros typically play. They are very unforgiving but if you hit it well, it's a great feeling. Upon my weekly check-in at Roger Dunn golf shops, I tested a bladed 7i titleist 712 MB. I hit ten balls with it and most were so flush that I fell in love right away. I've always been scared to try these types because I've only been playing golf for like 4-5 years and felt I wasn't good enough to play them. Now I want them so bad! I didn't leave the store empty handed though! I had some store credit and since my Ogio golf bag malfunctioned on me I picked up a new bag (See below). It's a bit flashy but I love the way it looks! Wifey approved!

Birthday weekend fun
Saturday our little crazy boy turned 2. So we decided to take him to D&B's so they can play games and just enjoy themselves. They are both so energetic! I don't know how to keep up with them a lot of times. I try to but most of the time I just want to pass out. Diane's been working really hard planning and setting up his birthday party that will be the following weekend. I think she's so talented in every way possible. She's always thinking about them and doing things for them that it makes me feel bad that I'm like that. Then on Sunday, Diane came home after having to go to the office to catch up on some work and wanted to do a photoshoot for Chase's birthday. She's been wanting to do a shoot at Peter's Canyon which is literally right around the corner from our home. We dressed up the kids, packed them on the stroller and walked over and did a quick shoot. I love how some of these turned out! Next up, Chase's party at Santa Ana zoo...more to come!
Ended the day with the kids singing in the car.

I started the process of enrolling Emily into Kindergarten for the Fall semester. It makes me think about how this is really the start of her academic career as a student. She's grown up so much lately that I kind of think I missed her being a baby. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad she's entering this stage. It's just going to mean we can do other things as the kids get older. I'm just glad she's a smart girl who is just going to get smarter.

School year is here!
Emily started preschool again this year and she's really enjoying her time there. She was looking forward to going back all summer. It really is amazing how fast they grow up. Next year she's starting kindergarten and before I blink I know she will be graduating college! Omg heart attack!! Ok breathe! I know she will be ok I just pray that I can take all the ups and downs of raising children.
Welcome to the world Korrine!
This past week, our family got bigger with the addition of our newborn niece Korrine! She's a mirror image of her momma! I know my brother and sister in law are gonna enjoy this new chapter in their lives. Shes already loved by so many for someone who just came into the world. Amazing right??!

Changing ways
Just this past weekend I made a decision to deactivate my Facebook account and start focusing on other things. One of them being this blog that I've enjoyed doing but haven't really taken advantage of. Its not going to be about how many people read it or even of anyone reads it. For me this is going to be my personal journal so I can look back and see how my life has changes throughout the times that I've posted. Although I've enjoyed the friends and people I've met through Facebook I found myself more lurking the site rather than participating in it. I didn't like that I was doing that.
So I haven't posted anything in awhile. What have I been up to? Well I've been focusing a lot of spending time with my family. I let my focus slip on them for awhile because of my own insecurities but now it's about them and us as a family. Since April I've been trying to get back into shape and so far it's been pretty rewarding. I'll save the details about that for a later post but my life is changing in a good way.
I'll try to post more often but it may take some time to get used to this.
