Well, Emily's third birthday is literally hours away and I feel like the time went by so quickly. She's been asking every day if it's Sunday because she knows thats when her party is. She's grown up so much in just the past 12 months. Just the other day she was running to my room really early in the morning trying to wake me up so she can watch her morning cartoons. These really are the times you just treasure with your family. My family means everything to me. I wouldn't call it sacrifice or losing out. Its more gaining moments and taking pictures and stories that stay with you forever.
With our baby boy just a couple of months away from welcoming himself to us, I'm sure time is not going to go any slower. Diane and I still can't make up our mind on what we want to name him. We have it down to a few names but we are literally back and forth every other day. I won't let out that information yet so you'll just have to wait and see. Come early May you'll find out. I'd love to add some updated pics but I don't have them with me on my laptop. I'll try to add it later.
Even though I haven't added anything for over a year, it always feels nice to just let out my thoughts into physical words. I know I only have a few people who may or may not read this. But if you are, thanks for listening.

Changes
I apologize for the lack of updates. It's been quite a busy time for us lately and blogging was the last thing on my mind. Within the 5 or 6 months since I last posted, we were in the process of selling our home of 6 years, buying a new home to start some new lasting memories, as well as getting readjusted to a new work schedule.

Emily has grown so much within the last 6 months and I'm amazed everyday how fast she's learning and how much she continues to amaze me. She's definitely grown into her own personality and it's so fun to watch! Next month she turns 2 and I'm hoping she skips the "terrible 2" stage!

We sold our home in Santa Ana which we shared for more than 6 years and built so many memories there. It will forever be Emily's first home, our first home as a married couple and family. After selling the house, we searched for months for the "perfect" home and after countless hours of searching, we found our home. We are now residents of the city of Orange and love our new home. We've met some people in the neighborhood and everyone is so friendly! It's like Pleasantville!
I know how blessed I am to have a job, a loving family, and a place to call home. It's hard to feel sorry for yourself when you see how the economy has effected so many people. Working weekends as I have been for the past 7 months has made me appreciate how precious my free time is with my family. I've missed a lot of birthdays, get togethers, and misc family outings because of this work schedule. Although I'm grateful to still have a job, I'm hoping this will not last much longer. We'll see what happens in the coming months and just pray for something good to happen.

Emily's Summer Blast!
Hi everyone, just wanted to update you on Emily's first summer with her family! She had a great time!
She went to a Hat themed birthday party and won a prize, went to the pool for the very first time, and also went on her first, of MANY, Vegas trip where her mommy decided it was a good time to break out the leg warmers! Overall, her first Summer in this world was a very memorable one for her and definitely for us! She's changed our lives in a way that Diane and I will always be greatful to her!
