Obsession

I have a few obsessions. My cameras, my laptop, my phone, my iPad, and my car just to name a few. But one obsession that I cannot live without is golf. I think about it all the time! What tournaments are going on for the PGA, LPGA, and Senior PGA tours, how I'm swinging and how I can get better and of course, equipment! Always love checking out the latest and greatest and see if it will help me with my game or at the very least, make me look good! I've been wanting some new blade irons which are what the pros typically play. They are very unforgiving but if you hit it well, it's a great feeling. Upon my weekly check-in at Roger Dunn golf shops, I tested a bladed 7i titleist 712 MB. I hit ten balls with it and most were so flush that I fell in love right away. I've always been scared to try these types because I've only been playing golf for like 4-5 years and felt I wasn't good enough to play them. Now I want them so bad! I didn't leave the store empty handed though! I had some store credit and since my Ogio golf bag malfunctioned on me I picked up a new bag (See below). It's a bit flashy but I love the way it looks! Wifey approved!

Birthday weekend fun

Saturday our little crazy boy turned 2. So we decided to take him to D&B's so they can play games and just enjoy themselves. They are both so energetic! I don't know how to keep up with them a lot of times. I try to but most of the time I just want to pass out. Diane's been working really hard planning and setting up his birthday party that will be the following weekend. I think she's so talented in every way possible. She's always thinking about them and doing things for them that it makes me feel bad that I'm like that. Then on Sunday, Diane came home after having to go to the office to catch up on some work and wanted to do a photoshoot for Chase's birthday. She's been wanting to do a shoot at Peter's Canyon which is literally right around the corner from our home. We dressed up the kids, packed them on the stroller and walked over and did a quick shoot. I love how some of these turned out! Next up, Chase's party at Santa Ana zoo...more to come!

Ended the day with the kids singing in the car.

I started the process of enrolling Emily into Kindergarten for the Fall semester. It makes me think about how this is really the start of her academic career as a student. She's grown up so much lately that I kind of think I missed her being a baby. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad she's entering this stage. It's just going to mean we can do other things as the kids get older. I'm just glad she's a smart girl who is just going to get smarter.
